Lizards Tale is an interactive animation created from a series of animation workshops with children at Christ Church Primary School in conjunction with Spitalfields Music as part of its Winter Music Festival. Created with custom patches for the Isadora software, the animations are activated by using a Wiimote controller which acts as a motion sensitive 'magic torch'. Pointing and moving the Wiimote in front of the computer screen causes an onscreen highlight to move. This hotspot activates embedded sounds & animations within the frame and navigates from scene to scene. The frames are processed to resemble the flickering look of very old film.
